The Souls of Riyadh
This collection captures the diverse faces and quiet stories of Riyadh through a series of oil portraits painted from life. Each piece was completed in a single 2 to 3-hour sitting between 2021 and 2023. The subjects—friends, acquaintances, and strangers—were painted in real time, allowing for an honest, unfiltered glimpse into their presence. The goal was not perfection, but connection: to preserve the fleeting expression, mood, and soul of each sitter in the moment.
